上海福特茶叶有限公司是上海市茶叶学会团体会员单位。公司创建于一九九三年，有自己的茶叶生产基地，属茶叶产供销为一体的专业单位。
公司的专业生产基地是位于闽东著名茶乡社口的福特茶厂，该茶厂拥有3000亩”无公害”茶园，每年能为公司提供40000多斤优质茶叶。由于茶厂位于茶源丰富,茶质优良的福建社口，并且茶厂以自己的”无公害”茶园为基础，依托福建省茶叶研究所的科学精英，充分利用科学技术,精心培育茶种、科学养茶、严格管理，因此，茶厂每年生产的茶叶不仅具有优异的质量，而且保证了产品质量的长期稳定性。公司的六杯香绿茶在95-96年均评为福建省名茶，97年被评为上海科技节绿色龙虎榜产品和第八届全国运动会上海代表团专用品牌，福建省福安市因此向外交部推荐作为我国驻外使馆用茶和接待外宾用茶。也因此，福特茶厂于1995年就被评为福建省产品质量合格企业。
在狠抓产品质量的同时，位于上海的公司销售总部不断扩大公司的销售规模。公司打破以前专营批发的销售模式，走批零兼营，连锁经营的路子。目前公司在上海己拥有10多家“六杯香茶庄”，形成颇有规模的连锁经营，公司在注重上海市场发展的同时，也在逐步地开拓外地市场。
在扩大销售规模的同时，公司也致力于“福特”品牌的发展。由于公司拥有自己的生产基地，生产的产品质量优异，并且能长期保持产品质量的稳定。因此，公司选择了几种优质产品作为公司的拳头产品，先后推出了“六杯香绿茶” 、“六杯香花茶”和多种工艺茉莉花茶等优质系列产品，并被评为“2000年上海十佳茶叶品牌”。2003年公司也被评为首批上海茶叶行业放心店。
今后，公司将致力于新品种的研制开发，与更多的品茗者共同感悟中国的传统茶文化的温馨，领略“六杯香”品牌茶叶的芳香。
